Fred H. Griffin

Northwest artist and graphic design instructor, taught at Burnley School of Professional Art & Art Institute of Seattle from 1960 - 2010. His work was shown in many Northwest galleries throughout his career.

“I teach methods of cognition. A means of classifying, condensing and integrating an ever-growing body of knowledge. Forming concepts is an act of abstraction; a selective focusing, mental isolation of fundamentals. All thinking is a process of identification and integration.”
